Elysium Axe Bar is looking to hire hosts in Loudoun County, Virginia.

We are Western Loudoun’s first and only social axe throwing venue, and we are looking for outgoing and upbeat people who would like to join our fun team in Purcellville, VA.

No experience in axe throwing or hosting is necessary, but a willingness to give your all and learn as you go is a must. We will train you!

We are open Thursday through Sunday so working weekends is a must! Our consistency, quality, and commitment to a high level of customer service are what make us a great place to visit and a great place to work.

As a host, you will work in a team-oriented, high-volume, fast-paced, guest-centric environment to provide our guests with an exceptionally distinctive axe throwing experience.

Primary Roles:

• Ambassadorship: Greet guests as soon as they walk through the door with energy and enthusiasm. You will be the first face of Elysium and our brand. We require that you do so by sharing our passion for the sport of axe throwing in an excited and professional manner and providing the highest level of service to our customers.
• Service: Providing exceptionally guest service, maintaining a neat, organized front-of-house environment. Answering phone calls, taking reservations, and answering questions.
• Day-to-Day Operations: manage the reservation system, check in guests, provide tours, and ensure that all guest waivers are signed and in the system. You will ensure that all parties are ready to rock when it comes time for them to start throwing axes. 

Qualifications:

• Ability to work with computers, answer phones, multi-task
• Must be able to work evenings and weekends
• Positive attitude
• Planning, problem-solving and teamwork
• Self-motivated
• High energy level
• Willingness to multitask during busy periods and spend downtime proactively
• Ability to keep bar area stocked, cleaned and organized.
• Ability to demonstrate excellent customer service
